Deosal temple building inaugurated

JAGIROAD, Feb 7: The new building of the traditional Deosal temple, 6 kms east from here was inaugurated by Gova princess Rajita Konwari and president of the temple construction committee Munin Borthakur on February 4 last.
The 65-foot high crown of the temple has been constructed at an cost of Rs 4 lakh. The foundation stone of the new building of the temple was laid way back in 2005.
Earlier, Jur Singh Bordoloi, secretary of the construction committee, explained in detail the construction expenditure of the temple building. Local MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Vivekananda Dolai has announced the temple venue as tourists spot. The opening session was also attended by the Gova king Dipsing Deo Raja, among others.
