Call for pay parity with Central Government employees

JORHAT, Feb 11: The State Government should pay salaries to its employees on a par with that paid to Central Government employees. Demanding this at the open session of All Assam Ministerial Officers’ Association held at Jorhat District Library auditorium here today, president of Sadou Asom Karmachari Parishad (SAKP) Pradip Bora maintained that the employees would extend support to the State Government of the day provided the latter was sympathetic towards the needs of the former.
