AJYCP biennial conference from February 9

By our Staff ReporterGUWAHATI, Feb 5: Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva-Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) is going to conduct its regular biennial conference for three days from February 9. As usual, the current state president Putul Dutta will resign as a single candidate cannot hold the posts of president and secretary for more than two years. Therefore, with his resignation, three deserving candidates, AJYCP advisor Dipendra Narayan Kaur and vice presidents Biraj Talukdar and Kamal Bharali, have already proposed their candidature for the post of president. It was also reported that current general secretary Manoj Barua is planning to contest for the same post though he has already completed his term for the second time. On February 9, the flag will be hoisted and this will be followed by a central executive meet. A delegates meeting will also be held in the evening on the same day. A cultural rally will be taken out on the second day of the meet which will be inaugurated by Golaghat DC Harendra Nath Bora. On the same day, an open meeting presided over by AJYCP president Putul Dutta will be held. The second delegates meet will be held on the second day as well. On the last day, another delegates meet will be organized on the first half and the office bearer selection meeting will be held in the evening. According to sources, a reception committee has been formed for successful completion of the meeting with Jayanta Goswami as the president, Nalini Ranjan Barua as the working president and Jitul Rajkhowa as the general secretary.
