DIBRUGARH, Feb 18: The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) members of Dibrugarh, Tinsukia and Sivasagar districts participated in the demonstration staged by Shram Parishad, sister organization of AGP in front of the Assam Branch Indian Tea Association (ABITA), Zone-1 office at Chaolkhowa today.
Hundreds of AGP and Shram Parishad activists took out a rally in support of their demand for cancellation of the wage agreement signed between ACMS and CCPA and later gheraoed the Assam Branch of Indian Tea Association (ABITA) Zone-1 office at Chaolkhowa, seven km away from here for more than two-hours.
