GUWAHATI, Feb 12 – The body of Simanta Gayan, the class IX student of Gurukul Grammar Senior Secondary School, who went missing on last Sunday in the river Brahmaputra along with Sahir Ahmed, was recovered from the bank of the river near Kharguli area this morning.
GUWAHATI, Feb 12 – The body of Simanta Gayan, the class IX student of Gurukul Grammar Senior Secondary School, who went missing on last Sunday in the river Brahmaputra along with Sahir Ahmed, was recovered from the bank of the river near Kharguli area this morning.
The body was later sent for post-mortem. Family members, according to police, have identified the body.
Sahir, however, is still missing.
