Free text books distributed at Karara

BAIHATA CHARIALI, Jan 18 – In a ceremonial function held on January 6 at Karara Higher Secondary School campus, free text books prepared by Assam State Textbook Production and Publication Corporation Limited and supplied by Asom Sarba Siksha Mission were distributed among schools of the area.

The programme of the distribution of free textbooks was formally inaugurated by Afzal Hussain Khan. BEEO of Karara in presence of teachers of the schools, resource teachers, CRCC and district quality manager (DQM). In the programme books on four mediums, i.e Assamese, Bodo, Hindu and Bengali were distributed among 397 schools. Of those three were higher secondaries, 26 provincialised high schools 36 ME Schools, 192 LP Schools, two high Madrassas, one senior Madrassa, seven EGS and two hard to reach (HTR) commonly known as Jyoti Kendra Schools.
