Medicine, car loan made available in post offices
GANGTOK, Sept 24 – The postal department today launched Project Arrow here to sell medicines, education schemes, auto loans and healthcare services in select post offices in Sikkim.
“Project Arrow would provide a centralised multi-purpose services such as off-the-counter medicines, education schemes, auto loans and healthcare services along with timely delivery of mails,” Director of Postal Services Abhinav Walia said today after unveiling the facilities at Head Post Office here.
The post offices will sell books, ayurvedic medicines, gold coins and railway tickets at the selected postal outlets, he said. – PTI
