UDALGURI, Sept 8: A couple Lakhikanta Basumatary and Lalita Basumatary were brutally killed by some unidentified miscreants at Rajatal Singa village in Udalguri. According to police sources, the miscreants killed the couple by slitting their throats. They are survived by two chidren, who are minors. A case has been registered at the Udalguri police station.
