ITANAGAR, April 13 – Arunachal Pradesh Government has decided to pay bonus and enhance the dearness allowance of its regular employees from the existing rate of 27 per cent to 35 per cent with effect from January 1, 2010.
Finance Minister Setong Sena said that the DA and bonus, to be paid in cash, will involve a total expenditure of Rs 77.96 crore annually, including Rs 74.46 crore for DA.
The non-productivity linked bonus, equivalent to 30 days’ emoluments for the accounting year 2008-09, has been sanctioned to casual and contingency employees who are not covered by any productivity-linked bonus schemes and for those who were in service on 31-03-2008 and had rendered at least six months’ continuous service during the year, he said. – PTI
