MANGALDAI, Aug 21: The Union Ministry of Rural Development has sanctioned an amount of Rs 12.83 crore to the rural areas of Darrang district for implementation of NREGA for the financial year 2009-10. According to a press release, this was stated in a communique of the Ministry of Rural Development director (NREGA) Krishna Kumar in a letter. It was also stated in the letter that no Utilization Certificate was pending against the recipent organization ––DRDA, Darrang under NREGA.
